How do you tell your story so people listen?

Ask Sibyl

Who’s she?

Sibyl:
A prophetess in ancient times, collective intelligence today.

A Sibyl refers to anyone of a number of ancient prophetesses– keepers of wisdom and knowledge handed down through stories.

Every woman has wisdom she is uniquely suited to share. Ask Sibyl is a coaching program to help her find it.

I’m Kate, Chief Magic Maker.

I love what I do. I’m a learning experience designer, entrepreneur and creative coach. I guide executives in humor and storytelling through Stanford LEAD, teach creativity and innovation to graduate and undergraduate students at Northwestern, and build exceptional forts with my kids.

I’ve been a featured global storyteller on PechaKucha.com, and have trained and performed comedy at The Second City and Lincoln Lodge in Chicago.

Also in middle school I won the Principal’s Award for Pleasant Manners. I know it’s rude to brag, but I just thought you should know.

SERVICES

Sprint

1 Hour: Story Finding

This virtual session is ideal for distributed teams with limited time, looking for a way to learn, connect and build trust. In one hour we cover the fundamentals of story, and invite participants into story scrimmages to get to know their colleagues, so you can officially put awkward ice breakers on ice.

Salon

1 Day : Story Crafting

This full-day immersive workshop guides participants to reflect on their experiences, express values and identity, and claim bragging rights through the stories they craft and share. Workshop can be a stand alone event, or an addition to an existing offsite or retreat. But not a silent retreat. That would be tricky.

Slaycase

1 Quarter: Story Telling

A multi-week virtual story crafting series with dedicated 1:1 and group coaching helps participants identify and craft stories to to connect, stories to credential, and stories to compel. The series culminates with a final storytelling event (which is basically the most thrilling event you can imagine within the legal limits and a reasonable bedtime).
